Therapy can be an incredible thing- having a third unbiased party in your corner, no matter what. It sounds like you’re off to a healthy start already, so that’s half the battle there.

Honestly I think it’s because narcissism has become more visible with social media. The ability to show everyone how cool whatever it is you’re doing is too tempting for a lot of people. I like to think the most charitable people are those doing good for others when no one is watching.
My mother, who was a financial genius, always said you have to be willing to be uncomfortable and live below your means if you actually want to accumulate wealth in your life. You’re doing it right!
Brunch dates can be a relaxing way to parlay into an afternoon…nap. Or can be a fantastic way to see how your date handles a long boozy brunch (i.e. What are they like when they’re drunk).
Goodwill finds are the best! I’ve got a couple tables/dressers that I simply sanded down, repainted, and sealed that look fantastic- and didn’t cost more than $50.
Maybe I don’t get it, but as a female I keep my spending to a minimum because I’d rather save up for a great vacation/401k than something dumb at crate and barrel.
Harry Potter has been my biggest geek out since I was a kid. Not ashamed to say that for more than one new release, I waited in line to get my copy of the new book. JKR is a gem.
