I have the reserve, freedom, and freedom unlimited and can confirm this is the move. But I also pay off my balances every month so it’s not a big risk for me.
I thought I’d play it cool by just drinking a whole bottle of red wine but decided after that it was a good idea to throw in a few moscow mules and spent 1/1 in bed until about 2 pm nursing a hangover that I hope to god will be the worst of the year.
Definitely agree with Broadway. I’m not sure what the crowds are going to be like for NYE but here were some places I had a great time at (all on Broadway):
-Tequila Cowboy
-Honky Tonk Central
-FGL House
-The Valentine
-Tootsies
Pretty much every bar has multiple levels and most have live bands. The ones that didn’t have live bands had excellent DJs.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, fellow Midwest dweller, but I went to Chicago for NYE last year and this is all too accurate. Fortunately, I didn’t have to deal with surge because we went to a club down the street from our hotel. Still, you could even run into this situation in Madison, Wi.
Question from an infrequent dater- I keep seeing the kiss on the cheek move in tour writing, is that expected? The initial greeting is always uncertain to me
This may be lame but I’d pretend to be asleep to avoid being dragged to brunch because I would much rather make my own breakfast that’s both cheaper and better tasting followed by some college football. Now when I go from time to time, it’s a real event because even I made it out.
Yeah not a fan of the whiny sounding emo/punk shit. Listened to classic rock growing up myself. Added in other genres in college and beyond but still not this or country really
I have a standing desk and a chair if need be. I just adjust the height of my monitors depending on whether I’m sitting or standing. Sitting for 8+ hours a day was terrible so I’m pretty happy with being able to shake it up

Can’t speak for NYE, but Nashville is one of the most fun cities I’ve been to so far
